We'll probably have to do revisions to the hierarchy over time, like a textbook you get assigned for a 300 level course that's the same as the 100 level course but somehow still $250. Being in New Zealand I find this Hiace excitement a little hard to fathom. I mean, it's just a bloody Hiace! Hell, maybe I should start a NZ-to-USA JDM export business....... That said, there's a mid-90s Estima/Tarago/Previa (choose whichever is applicable) around my neck of the woods with a 302 jammed in it so......

This is... this... this is the Best RCR review I think I've ever seen. It's a thing of beauty. Only Mr. Regular can reference Calvin & Hobbes, Battlestar Galactica, AND Maslow's hierarchy of needs and make it all work, within a review of a JDM imported car.

Growing up in Jamaica these were used for either cargo or school buses. Actually I'm considering making one of these in Super GL trim as my main/work vehicle. Super reliable and cheap to maintain.

I grew up in Jamaica as well. They were ubiquitous.

I'm so happy for that owner, to have found a car to be that dedicated to. Currently my Prowler fits that, I'd do anything to keep it going and I do more to keep it looking as good as possible, even at my own inconvenience.

I agree. Allot cars out there I would drive that otherwise wouldn’t be approved by others.

Unless you have a family, partner, or job that requires your vehicle, then RCR's order is correct.

My 2017 Dodge challenger GT AWD reached validation on the RCR hierarchy. The 2015 Volkswagen Golf diesel TDI Sportwagon I just traded it in for reaches contentment. Now I can travel anywhere I want. My tires are $300 instead of $1,100. My highway gas mileage is up to 70MPG instead of up to 30MPG. Bravo on this hierarchy.

Your application of the Hierarchy of Needs on cars was downright masterful.

I went through the hierarchy of needs with my car as I sat here watching this. My car is a 2020 V6 Dodge Challenger SXT with all wheel drive. Does it serve its bare minimum function? Yes. It passes inspection and runs really well. I have to fuel it maybe once a week if I drive it enough. I love how I look in it, and I will drive it until I can't, and then I'll fix it and drive it some more.

I love my current car but still kept shopping the market, convinced there was something better for me. Never knew why until now, when I realized I have a step 4 car. Love the hierarchy, and thank you for breaking it down so effectively.
