Reminds me of the Redskins (failed) play to end the half on Monday Night Football.

@@PerpetualArt I think it was a game against the Giants in Washington in 09. An absolute hideous play that summarized the Redskins in those days. It was the opposite of this play.

Baker Mayfield has that wanna win at all costs fire. Im a cowboys fan for life but i woulda liked to see Marino get one. If Baker can get a superbowl win earlier in his career, he may get mulitple rings i believe.

@@damienmensinger1439 + Marino was completely overrated, especially in a time period when running was everything. Let's hope Baker Mayfield is better than Marino.

@@PerpetualArt Marino overrated?? lol, thanks for the laugh. In before "rings" great teams are given rings, not necessarily great players.

It amazes me how Walsh didn't work in hard counts the way Dolphins lineman were flying off the ball in anticipation. Then it again, it doesn't amaze me because it is a Bears QB

And this loss catapulted another late season swoon for the Dolphins

Cost them home field against the Chargers if I recall. Once teams viewed going to Florida in December as a vacation rather than a chore the Dolphins always seemed to fold in the lste 80's and 90's.

@@DiversityDragons Maybe it cost them home advantage, but Chargers had better record away from San Diego that year until the Super Bowl loss.

How ironic that Wannstedt coached the Bears 🐻.....6 years later, he’d coach the Dolphins 🐬.
@williewideback4 жыл бұрын
Wannstedt was the worse coach in Dolphins history, meaning he inherited one of the best overall talented, well balance team the Dolphins has ever had and he blew it. After that it was Cam Cameron for coming to Miami and letting go of many top talented player's and going 1-15

@@williewideback Nick Saban was sandwiched in there. I feel like they had some decent teams but never made a ton of noise. Everything collapsed in 04 for Wannstedt. Saban provided promise in 05 as the team won six straight at the end to finish 9-7. Some people thought they would be possible super bowl contenders in 06 given their rise and the addition of Daunte Culpepper, but it all fell apart and Saban headed to Bama the year after, with rumors already around by the end of the NFL season.
