I came from ENGLAND to race this Baja 1000 . I bought a Baja Bug 5-1600 and raced with my buddy Matt Dreaver from Dana Point CA ……. We had an amazing pre-run and we finished the race in 42 hours , all 1142 miles ….. I then shipped the car back to the UK and raced it there ….. Coming up to 30 years ago !!!
