Hit the nail on the head Geoff. Feeling and the visceral nature of driving is hard to find in modern cars. Feeling like you’re driving fast without breaking the limits is also lost nowadays. Loved this video!

What a great trip down memory lane. I had a manual 320i saloon in a purple-blue colour with light grey leather. Although a little laggy down low (I obviously didn’t drive it hard enough), it was a great car. I wish I hadn’t sold it 😢

I have 6 x E36s inc 4 tourings, not minters, just well maintained. They are good fun, reliable and (mostly) pass MOTs. I bought most of them for £500 when people wanted rid of older cars with low 20s MPG

Basically a nice car. But if one does all the necessary bodywork, painting etc. the costs will by far exceed it's market price. It's a shame.
