1995 Honda Accord VTEC and Ignition Switch FIX!

Hello everyone,
So I finally got around fixing the vtec issue I was experiencing. I had no vtec lol So I ended up swapping the vtec oil pressure switch and the vtec solenoid as it was leaking. I hope the fixes take care of the issue for the upcoming years. I also went ahead and finally changed the ignition switch on my car with an oem part. I have been putting it to the side for far too long. Working on the car on the street makes it harder to find the motivation to start a job. Thanks for showing me around the F, only know the other series engines. All of my old hatches always end up failing intermittently at the ignition switch. CRX ignition switch failed & previous owner had a higher amp than rated in line. Was driving over a major bridge and my harness started smoking. Ripped it off and placed on my floor mat smoldering, still got me home.. *Throw the old one out

I not entirely sure if your car is in the group. But I had a similar issue with the ignition switch on my 97 and found out there was a recall for them. I got it done awhile ago at Honda dealership. Wont hurt to check to see if your car has the recall.

Distributor o-ring leaking like those civics, or was that just from the vtec solenoid? 2nd ignition you've replaced?

second ignition in a span of 6 years I believe and I think the dizzy is also leaking.

@@AutomotiveAnatomy seems excessive for an ignition cylinder. Idk, I have heard too much weight on a key chain is bad for a cylinder over time.
