Easiest way to get the rear ac bolt is under the car with a long and medium extension and a ratchet

Hi. Have a question. Bought a 95 ls400 with mileage of 117000. Timing belt was done during 80000 but that was 2007. Shall I wait longer because of low miles or do the timing belt now because it is more than a decade since the last changed? thank you. Nice informative video BTW.

I would. pull the covers and check the belt. see if it looks dry or cracked.

@@MattShaughnessy6 How comfortable are you with a visual inspection of the belt to determine whether or not to do it? I mean, if you had no idea when the belt was changed last. I have no record of when it was done last on my 183k mile LS so I am inclined to assume it is due. It's a 1996 so the last thing I want to do is risk damage due to belt failure since it's an interference engine.

Is the SC400 same engine and requires same maintenance ??
@BPoweredLove4 жыл бұрын
Yes and yes. The "400" in the Toyota (Lexus) model names refers to the engine displacement of the engine. LS400, SC400 and GS400 of similar years all have the same 4.0L V8.
