1995 Mini - Door lock fix and new Carpets - Parental Warning

Important, I ordered carpets and covers on 13 July 2020 from Kingsman covers ( TRADING NAME OF TRAPPZ LTD) alas they failed to ship a part of the order.
After much effort via email and phone, with only one response via email, I am having to pursue this claim through Paypal. Aftersales service has not been good here! I cannot recommend these guys
In the workshop today I have Howard's 1995 Mini, he had it painted up a few years back and has modified the interior exactly how he likes it. However the carpetry was letting it down.
I fit a set of carpets from Kingsman covers. and fix the door handle that stopped working just the day before

I had the same problem with the play in the door lock, bending it a touch has (temporarily at least) fixed it, thanks for the video and tip!

Any idea what to do if have closed the door and can't open it. Did try to move the bits from the inside but nothing works

Stuff of nightmares, be sure that the lock is not engaged. you may then find that the catch is tight on the striker. give it a firm pull and it may well open.

Kingsman covers, they went a bit quiet on me! but is was due to a warehouse move.
