very helpful.my son has a low miledge 95 mustang gt.its spent most of its time in a trans shop an electrical shop and the dealer.trans sometimes slips in overdrive,and some times it wants to run warm.weve been told it needs a map sensor the dealer wants to change everything and no garentees ie been told obd1 code reader wont help.you think these proble could be coinsedence or maybe the computer may be bad

ive got a 95 mustang gt, i have been having issues with finding the miss its mainly low rpm miss and whenever my fuel ets below half a tank, ive tired koeo several times and get NO codes i hear fuel pump prime and fan kick on but i always wait like 20 minutes and get no codes when i try to do the koer test it just suts my battery off like i blew a fuse, any tips or ideas?

+Fabio Franzoni does the check engine come on at all? might be a broken check engine light no? some people have speedo issues so that could be a problem I think. I could be wrong though as I'm new to pulling codes

probably way too late but it could have been the Ignition Control Module, sensor right under the stock cold air intake box.

The 1995 Mustang GT with the 5.0l V8 is OBD1 the V6 Mustangs are OBD2.

FordsRule351 I thought they switched over to obd2 at the end of 95 must be thinking of when the 4.6 came out at the end of 95 going into 96
