Sooner fan and graduate, but can we pause and recognize Nebraska's backs for a moment. Lawrence Phillips and Ahman Greene in the same backfield. Damn, that is almost Sanders and Thomas level.

As an OU fan growing up in the 90s I think it's unfair my sooners cant return the favor to Nebraska while their program is down. Wouldn't mind pounding them the way they did us for a stretch! Man yall had some fantastic teams back then! Guess we got a couple shots in while Callahan was coaching at least. Hope they start that non conference scheduling so we get to see OU Nebraska again!

Idk you have your chances this year. That's not Nebraska's fault ( 90s).If Switzer wasn't such a cheat, maybe they wouldn't have gone on probation , he wouldn't have been forced out. People like to rant on Nebraska but they were nothing compared to OU under switzerland. Best teams money 💰 could buy steriods rapes and coke and all. We have our skeletons in the closet but please 😂 We owe you from the championship game we should have won( big 12). Minus turnovers easy work..

@@ralfigs what a cocksucker of a bitter reply dude! So if squeaky clean Dr. Tom didn't have any shady shit going, what's the reason NU has sucked a fat cock ever since he left. The original comment I made was not in anyway disrespectful to Nebraska or its fans, complimentary in fact of the good success they had in the 90s. so why tf did you have to be such a douche bag. Still pissed Barry owned Tom during his tenure? Easy win in the big 12 title game? LoL nice scoreless 2nd half! How many murderers did Barry start at tailback? Usually there is a level of respect between these fan bases, but you are clearly one of the cock suckers that make college sports not so fun. Next time just don't comment man.

No, they simply were not. 1 of 25 stats. Neb95 beat 1 team that beat a ranked team in their bowl game. LSU2019 beat 5. The SEC had 2 teams that finished in the top 20. Fewest of the 90s. SEC also the worst bowl record for the 90s that year too. There's more. Only 2 teams of the 62 that have competed in the SEC championship have finished with 5 losses and unranked. One was FL's opponent before Neb, Ark. And then throw in the fact that FL didn't show up JUST LIKE # 1 Neb didn't 2 games later, andt 95 was a FARCE.

Not a fan of either team. But, I can't help but wonder how OU would have done with decent QB play against this team. The defense did its job. But, it was on the field too long due to offensive errors. Never forget, this offense wasn't much different than the Miami offense that beat Nebraska in the 84 orange bowl.
