I remember how big deal it was for Škoda to move from their 1.3lit to 1.5lit VW engine. F2 and kit cars overall were incredible.

1.5l was škoda ohv engine with diferent crankshaft with longer stroke. Vw engin was 1.6l ohc and cams later.

1.5l ohv was only short live . Problem was they coms from originaly 1.3l engine block and coms from originaly 1l engin block and 1.5l was maximum posible displacement. Problem was fia class was 1.6l and this was hendicap. End at last ohv engines have problems with high rews. 1.6l vw engine was definitly better than 1.5l skoda. Original 1.5l felicia kit car is very rare. Practical all 1.5l kits was modifited just after homologation 1.6 vw ohc.

@@jardars much appreciated. I loved Felicia kit car. They still can be found racing. In my region even Favorit can be found driven by newbies.

Love it! Thank you very much! And now some Barum rally please :)) Favorit and Felicia was often the nightmare of much stronger cars. I remember one look of shock from Carlos Sainz when he saw what was under the hood of Favorit... :)
