This is such a simple looking car but somehow it just really hits the mark. It looks unassuming at a first glance, but the more you look at it, the more aggressive and badass it looks. Probably one of my favourite cars to come out of the 90's, and one of my favourites of all time. A true American classic.

Have a 96 DCM. Put a custom exhaust on it for a more aggressive sound. Took out the 3.08s and installed 3.73s! Really wakes the car up and makes it quick. Sent the PCM out for a performance tune. New drilled and slotted rotors and calipers all the way around. Upgraded the headlights because it's my DD. One of the best automobiles I have ever owned. Really fun to drive. Have taken it to Canada three times. Great highway cruiser. Came with an upgraded suspension stock so it's a lot more nimble than you would think.

TossedSaladMan iPreferSyrup What difference did the switch to obd2 make?
@shtupidmate4 жыл бұрын
@@janeanderson7122 OBD2 was a regulation forced by the government on a state level (mainly California) so that their cars could all have a "common language" in reporting any problems the sensor detected on the car. Basically it was a little electric thing you plugged in when your check engine light turned on, and it would display codes - you'd then look up the code and find that problem. Also, car security was massively improved in 1996, but I can't remember off the top of my head if the OBD sensors had anything to do with that.

Saabkyle04 you are doing a great job with these extremely in depth reviews! Do you take request for reviews? I would love to see a Buick GNX or any of those 70s and 80s Cutlass/ Monte Carlo/Grand Prix/ Regals.

Kyle, it was a sad year for GM in 96...discontinuation of the caprice and caprice wagon, departure of roadmaster and the estate wagon, and the almighty fleetwood. They must have really been something back in the day seeing them brand new in the show room
