Good tip to stop gas from pouring out of the old filter, take the plugs off the new filter and stick them on the old filter once you unhook it.

It makes you wonder why engineers design stuff this way. That filter will act as a restriction so that means there should be a little more pressure before the filter than after. So why did they put a lighter-duty fitting on the tank side and this PITA pressure fitting on the engine side.

Wow.i have the exact year and color,except mines the Splash.My 3.0 has 213K now and is cranking a while before firing.I havent changed fuel filer in many years so im assuming i should change it first?Does long cranking sound like fuel filter issue?

Just bought one of these had to replace the transmission, now it's cuts out mid throttle replaced plugs could pack and fuel filter ,lol wish I had left it where I seen it

Disconnect the fuel pressure switch under the glove box. Rookie mistake.
