Hello I'm with Andides, Don't sale it. Keep in your family and pass it down to your Son. God willing he"ll appreciate all the time you spent with him on it, like u did with Dad!! I've been following you for a minute with the impala great build great content.. I have a 9 year old daughter, I have a 1985 2 door Chevy Caprice, 1963 impala super sport and 1964 inpala super sport. which I am rebuilding and hopefully my daughter will rebuild them with me and I can pass them on to her and she could pass them to her family not all of them but at least the 63 & 64 impala Super Sports. But hopefully just to get this speed quality time with her since life is Short a n9t promised to Andbdy.And dying.. Have a Good Day Sir!!!

A car that we still love very much in Saudi Arabia, although there are malfunctions in it, such as the problem of the cooling circuit, oil leakage from the front seat of the engine and the malfunction of the IPS, but it is a wonderful car and I have owned one for 26 years

I thought my SS was clean, man this is nice and it was driven and taken care of with a purpose. At first I was like hell nah, don't sell it, but after hearing the story I understand. Do you still have this Impala ss? This is my favorite car still yet today I’d pick it over any amd I mean any brand new car as of today! I was born in 1981 and I’ve loved large cars since I could say vroom vroom! My father used to let me and my brother at I’d say 4-5-6 years oke and up set on his lap and steer ever car he had up till we was big enough to be able to reach the pedals and see over the wheel! Once we got that size he turned us lose with every vehicle he owned even some that was his company owned cars/trucks/suvs! Lol his boss even knew we drove the vehicle with out a license nor old enough to have one! Lol he was a car guy as well done same thing with his son! But once the Chevy caprice came out my dads boss bought the 1991 caprice in dark blue and I always begged my dads bosses wife to drive hers so at I’d say 13 years old she finally said we’ll get in drove me to the atore which was 3 miles away! And ahe was so proud I handled the big car with such grace , care, and ease like I drove for over 50 years! Well when she totaled hers and really o my about 8-10 years ago it had 361,000 miles on it and had all original motor and transmission! …. Well my dad when I got my license and first job then moved on to a better job of and was also holding 2 jobs at the same time one my main job 48 hours a week 5 days a week plus a part time 20 hours a week job he said why aware u working so much I said I want to buy the new Impala SS and they are more than a caprice and I’ve hard only marking them maybe another year I want onw and I’ll need down payment money plus I’ll need u co-sign the loan! Well he was happy I was doing so much to get what I wanted! One day at hob number two he came by said I need to borrow your car mine is acting up he had a explorer snd I was driving at that time which I thank was 1996 I had a 1993 Chevy Corsica with 55,000 miles he helped me get with a small down payment of 500$ I had it maybe a year and three months! I said ok I was busy didn’t ask much well he came back two hours later said thank be safe coming home I filled ur car up for ya and put a new head light bull in it ! It not the same one u had in it but it’s close and it will do for now I hope your able to see better coming home in it I said thanks love ya dad I’m busy I can’t talk so he left when we closed, I went to get in my car I couldn’t find it! I called dad and 911 reported it stolen! ( some asked u didn’t see they keys was different no I didn’t cause back they they was they came for the cars) so dad sent my brother to come get me and he was heart broke I was filling out police report when he called me back checking on me and he said omg I can’t believe they stole that new car all that money wasted I said well insircace will cover it dad it was almost paid off ! His reply was like crap it was I done beat I could keep ur payments the same but it’s on a 5 year term not 3 like your Corsica! ! The cop hear d him said what did he say I said dad what did u says he said oh my god u haven’t noticed tell the cop your sorry your car wasn’t stolen u just have not noticed I took your ole one traded it for your new Chevy caprice your probably standing there looking at wondering who’s it is then! I said oh my god I feel dumb dad was laughing mom was too my brother then my brother got my cause he was older and still in tbe same car he had for 3 years and I only had mine 1.5 years and younger and dad got me a new car! Lolol! So yes dad took my old one gor me a new one and I didn’t know it’s wasn’t my dream car that still today I’ve not gotten but it ment so much and I love your car ! Dad got me a 1996 last year made Chevy caprice it was the base version cloth in side hubcaps nothing special but he found it it was a demo at the car lot we always deal with (Team Chevrolet Charleston WV) but it was mine payments was 66$ more and he traded mine in and paid 1400$ cash more to keep payments to where I could afford to take a day off I’ve never missed a days work still yet to this day until he died in 2009 and u missed five days but no covid closed my work place down and I’m just relaxing for now but if u have that car after the first of year I’d like to talk to ya! Sorry long story just this brought back lots of memories for me thank you!

You would be making a HUGE mistake selling this car man. Not only is it a original owner garage kept, it is literally THUG LIFE on wheels. The longer you keep it the more value it retains. My father had a 55 Chevy bel air as a teenager in the 70s he bought for $2500 and it was super clean like your impala. Today that car in same condition is $50,000!

So my Impala has the Hotchkis X-Tend setup, so they are the extended rear control arms. I also had the longer aluminum driveshaft, which wasn't totally necessary when comparing it to stock. Tires/Wheels - OEM wheels with 275/40/17 on the back. It did run a 285 out back for awhile, but the sidewall had me nervous, even though I experienced no issues. Thanks for watching!

do you regret installing the torquehead and is it worth all the work? what were the positives and negatives of the install? would you do it again?

I did not. I think it was worth the upgrade and with so few good optispark options, it was a better choice than a junk opti from wherever. Positives were the instructions and I hope my videos add to that. Only really difficulty part is the crank hub. That’s nerve wracking cause you don’t want to ruin your crank. I would do it again. But I also don’t plan to own another LT1 at this point. Best of luck!
