(1996) Signs of PDA Autism in 18-Month-Old Neurodivergent Autistic Child (Snorkitty as a Baby)

April 1996. This is footage taken by my late mother (Kathleen Roche, 1956-2012) of me walking around in a playpen, stimming with toys like plastic blocks and plush bears. I was diagnosed in 1998 as “severe developmental delay (PDD-NOS),” diagnosed in 2000 as Autistic, and I found out in 2018 that I have pathological demand avoidance (PDA). I have attended Autistic events for a long time, including PDA events since late 2019, and I am proud to say that I am PDA!

I do not want to return to the 1990s as an adult. I am proud to turn 29 this year.
