Could you please tell me how to get the pop up roof up? I have just had one delivered, a 1995 model, almost identical to this. Also, opening & closing the tail gate makes a horrendous noise. Can anything be done about that? Thank you for reading :)

This one is probably a full-time 4wd with an open center differential. It seems like they moved away from part-time 4wd to full-time sometime in late 1993. Coincided with the change from the 2.8L to 3.0L diesel engine. Downside IMO is the open center diff, since the part-time system had a permanent 50/50 split front/rear power distribution in 4wd. With the open center diff of the full-time 4wd, if the front wheels started slipping, it would take power away from the rear and send it to the front causing more slippage. That wouldn't happen in the part-time system.

This car has a full-time auto 4wd. Like Prado 95 has. So, it can't have the switchable hubs. You gotta buy a 10-22mm lens. It'll help you a lot. :-) Cherry blossom. Awesome. We'll have them in the end of May. It's colder here than you have. 🤣

This video was shot on my new lens. It's 12-35. F2.8 Micro 4/3 doesn't have one that goes wider than that with a nice low aperture and zoom.

Very Innovative. Too bad they never thought about an American Market. Bet these would sell in the USA.

Did this used to have a toilet that was removed? Maybe a little thetford or something? Seems like it in that bathroom. Just weird seeing a shower in a vehicle that small and no toilet.

This has got to have THE worst cloudy lights (or rather indicators in this case) I've ever seen. But all of the equipment and the condition it's in more than makes up for it.

I love this car. Japanese cars are so impressive, and all solutions are so thought through to bring the best experience with best space usage. Does this model has an engine under passenger's seat?

In here there are also enough junkjards. But the part-time transfers applicable for the Surf platform (and HiAce either) are not so cheap. Jeepers like this mod very much. FullTime is really useless on OffRoad.
