Very good video. I already changed my CR bearing and didn't need any special tools: extention rod and hammer to remove the old races. Used the old races upside down and a hammer to install the new races. droped the hole thing in the freezer for 2 hours after that just dropped the new bearings that slided into the steering stem. Just had a little hard time removing the old race from the steering stem but after a minute of blowtorch it just needed a punch to remove.

Hi, constantly watch your videos, shoot a video about adjusting the ignition on the honda cr250r, thanks in advance...

Not sure if I missed it in the video, but when driving the new bearing down the stem should your driver (pipe in your case) only be contacting the inner race of the bearing? I know some ball bearings should only be driven by the outer race, not sure if these apply or matter because of the style of bearing?

Yes, the driver should contact the inner bearing race in this situation. As a general rule, drive bearings at the contact point of the bore/shaft. So bore = outer, shaft = inner.

Hey maybe you can help me with this. I just did my steering stem bearing for a 96 YZ250 with All Balls bearings they came with 3 dust seals I put one under the lower bearing, one one the top below the adjustment nut and not sure where the other one is supposed to go. I should of paid more attention when I took it apart but I didn't and looking at the book isn't very helpful

The top of the steering stem has two seals, one between the bridge and the adjustment nut (under the bridge) and one between the bridge and the mounting nut (on top of the bridge).
