My friend had this bike while I was doing my MBBS, that is some 20 yrs back. He was a student of Pharmacology. He used to go on long tours and was envied by travel enthusiasts. Sadly, he met with an accident on one such trip and passed away. If I remember correctly, soon after, Enfield stopped production of this model. This bike brings back some sad memories.

I had this bike when I was in my college days. My leg used to die every morning to start it m And when it comes to winter, just forget about it. Me and my friends used to kick start it in a queue to make it start. Gosh what a memory was that.

My dad used to own this.. and I used to sit on the tank as a child and handle the bike! My dad was a big built man at that point of time and still suffered knee injuries from the kick!(there used to be a severe back from the kick)! But the pull was amazing.. and the stock exhaust noise was such that the entire colony used to know that my dad is going somewhere! He used to extract 100+ mileage on Highways!

Very well maintained and restored. One can say collectors item similar to the ambassador of yester years, the one before the Isuzu 1800cc engine. One thing missing in this bike are rear view mirrors, RE standard 350cc mirrors will look fine on this. Well made video with all details.

Just relived my childhood.my uncle used to own it...bada bewakuff banaya tha unhone..winter mein Subha Subha kick Marne bhej dete the at least half n hour lagta tha garam karne..Chote the to shauk tha ki bike start kar rahe hai Ji ska bada fayda uthaya..return badi tagdi marti thi but touch wood fracture nahi hua kabhi but I really enjoyed.
