1997 Mazda B2300 Pick-up

These fuel pumps are liquid cooled from the gas itself and is why you should avoid running less than a quarter tank of fuel as much as possible. Overheats the pump motor unnecessarily. Just rebuilt my 95 b2300 and learned this the other day. great little trucks.

I really want one of these trucks. Like you said, it is the same as the Ford Ranger, but I prefer the styling of the Mazda. This truck is perfect imo. Trucks nowadays are too big and have too many unessesary gizmos for my liking. Keeping everything simple is what I like and it makes for less things to break. Well thanks for the video and take care! @@greggjerdingen7844 Well he surely did do a great job! Are there any huge differences between the model years. If I had my choice, I would prefer a 4cyl, 2wd, Manual, Standard Cab. I still can't believe the condition of the one you found! Thanks for all of the information. I really dig these trucks!

@@ChrisfromGeorgia The front clip seems to be biggest difference. The interior seems the same, but somehow has more space behind the seat. The 2.3 Liter four was enlarged to 2.5. I live in Minnesota, but drove to South Dakota when the ad popped up that this truck was there. I had listed manual transmission as a criteria, but the dealership had mistakenly listed the 1999 as a manual. When I saw the condition and went for a test drive, I bought it the same day. Since the 1999 has a little more power it accelerates about the same as the 1997 with the manual. flic.kr/s/aHsmsD6TKV
