Can you tell me what I did wrong as I have the same Murray ultra 2 stage 5hp snowblower. The auger “L” bracket broke. I ordered an replaced but I forgot the correct position of the auger cable. Can you or guide me on how to get the cable to get the right tension again as it doesn’t engage. Thanks ps I’ve had this baby since new mid 90’s. Help

Come spring time, it'll be time to pick out a lawn mower to go along with the snow blower.

I Iove your Samsung comment. I think because Samsung had that recall from their wash machines explode and since it's in the basement and next to an oil furnace no worries. Kidding and wish yourself a success with the home. You have little more on your plate these days. Roofing is taking a while and looking forward to seeing the progress.

That little clip that you touch at 11:36 is a retainer for the auger clutch cable. Snap the cable behind that clip to keep it's path clear of other moving parts inside that housing.

I have an '06 Toro CCR2450 with a Briggs R Tec engine, so they made them well past the 90's. I love my Tecumseh engines, I prefer them over Briggs motors.

KWatson1984 R-Tek engines were actually made by Lawn Boy and the rights were acquired from Briggs years later.

What's 5 horse snow King engines are pretty reliable. I have one on an MTD 22 inch. However it's not very good with the snow the City plow leaves at the end of my driveway. At some point and I'll upgrade to a more powerful machine.

people who couldn't be fucked to top off their oil gave tecumseh motors a bad name, they're actually really good! My 1987 craftsman LT10 has a tecumseh engine that still runs great, just needed some carb work, and carbs are cheap, I also have an old toro snowblower that I'm trying to fix and it has an hmsk80 on it, same deal, bad carb and runs fine on starter spray. It's a damn shame that tecumseh isn't around anymore, I hate the shit they're putting on lawn mowers and snowblowers today, especially kohler, kohler is fucking garbage

How the hell are you in your early 30's and have a detailed knowledge of such diverse items. I would like to see a tool box tour once things get settled.

Growing up in a household that couldn't afford to pay people to fix our problems, and a father willing to tackle anything life threw at him regardless of skill level... I was learning how oil furnaces worked at the age of six...

I am pretty sure county stores in milford has parts for your breezeway Windows. Atleast they did a few years ago when a friend of mine was looking for parts for his. Parts that is handled cranks gear boxes etc as for the glass have to have that made I think granite state glass in Manchester will cut them for you and temper them for a price of course.
