I had the pleasure of meeting John Andretti in 2001. He was one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet. Helluva racer too. RIP John.

John Andretti winning his first career Winston Cup race , the fans cheering after Gordon's spin and the last lap crash with someone saying " Goddamn it ! " along with the blood curdling scream. Great Race 😁👍🏁

I believe the person you are talking about who yelled “Goddammit!” and had the blood-curdling scream was Mark Martin.

Which they would put on his 1999 Martinsville win to me that was a good win. The fact that he was able to come back from a spin-out and when. Long live John Andretti 😔

John was my favorite driver right behind Jeff Gordon. Missed the opportunity to meet him when I to the Brickyard 400 in 2004, and have always regretted it even more so after he passed away on January 30, 2020.
