Thanks for the video as a re tutorial. One thing I saw was when placing the rotors back on, you need to initially torque the washer, nut, rotor 30 to 40 ft lbs to set the rotor to the hub then, back the nut off and hand tight so the nut and serrated washer line up with the hole

Thank you Luckily enough even without doing that procedure my wheels are not falling off.

Will 4 wheel drive rotors go on a 2 wheel drive ram?? I have a 01 1500 5.2 and it’s cheaper for the 4 wheel drive rotor for some reason
@stephengoad30912 жыл бұрын
I'm sorry to report but no they will not fit. Here's the cheapest set of two wheel drive rotors ebay.us/xuSC8f If you want to buy them separate they are cheaper about $30. ebay.us/AeyF7N The difference is, the 4 wheel drive is only the metal portion of the rotor no lugs or bearing seats. The two-wheel drive version has to go over the hub assembly that the two bearings inner and outer ride on. Hope this helped you might want to call over to your local parts stores and get a price. All over the thing they single rotors they're cheaper and we have two left in stock.

My rotors that I ordered for my 2000 Dodge Ram 1500 2nd look different. Are you sure that’s not a 4wd?
@stephengoad30916 ай бұрын
@@ofcourseimfullofit absolutely positively the truck I have is a two-wheel drive model if it was the four-wheel drive model the rotor would be like a cars where are the stars attached to the hub and the rotor slips over the lug bolts. So the four wheel drive model will be just somewhat flat disc with holes in it. Does this answer the question ❓

@@stephengoad3091 My 2000 Dodge Ram doesn’t have a center bolt that holds the rotors on. It’s weird that yours does. The two wheel drive the rotor slides over the lugs. You have it backwards. Watch another video of a two wheel drive pad and rotor change.
