1998 BAYLINER 3.0 MERCRUISER WINTERIZE!!!

So I figure this is something that I have to do every winter and it's something that someone might need to see to help them out a little bit with an old boat.This process has always worked for me.Hopefully it will work for you to thanks for watching!!!

Easy method of winterizing your engine. I would also recommend draining the exhaust riser as well. There is a 10mm(?) plug on the bottom of the riser. I've had 2 of these engines and I love their simplicity. Instead of using antifreeze, I would drain the block and riser so there was no water in the system. There is a block drain plug on the right side (facing) of the block that is usually accessible, on most boats. However, your method might be better because antifreeze has rust inhibitors.
