How to replace alternator on 1998 Ford Ranger as well as serpentine belt (belt replacement not always needed but recommended)

Considering the 98 Ranger had a 2.5 and not a 2.3. I had a 1997 with the 2.3 and at that time I worked for a Motorcraft Distributor. The 1998 Ranger has a 2.5
