I have a single cab same year with 234000 miles and trust me these trucks are long lasting. I have had it for 6 plus years never put anything other than power steering pump and new radiator thats it. Its my daily so cant complain bought it for 1500 pretty good deal if you ask me

Mine, 1994 2.3L, still runs strong with 425K miles. No engine or transmission issues. As you said, I can't complain.

Is there any certian way you have to start up a 5 speed ranger? Like the clutch has to be pushed in? Certian vechile that's a must have. Or others as long as it in neutral it will start

That is a rear drive. I have the same exact ranger but 4x4. Bought it w/100,000 miles for $3500, put another 100,000 on it and have only had to change the alternator. Tough little truck, we've had some adventures. A damn tree even fell on it once and I thought she was a goner! After much cutting away, as I lifted the tree off, the hood popped back into place leaving just a slight little dent, just a blemish. TOUGH
