I have a 1999 Honda Accord EX V6, 4 Dr. Sedan. It has 144,239 miles. Continues to be in excellent condition mechanically, included exterior and interior. I perform most of the maintenance myself. I do not trust the dealerships, and or some Mechanics. Come to think of it, my car has CA Emissions. Engine looks good, however overkill on the All Black on the plastic parts of the engine. My engine continues to have just as much kick as it did back in July, 1999, when I drove off the Honda Dealership lot with 10 miles on it. Everything is OEM, with the exceptions of the Car Stereo and speakers, replaced by a Pioneer DVD, Digital Tuner, Sirius Radio Double Din Stereo Head Unit. Buyers need to come to the realization that since the car is over 20 years old, keeping it OEM is becoming more of a challenge. I have replaced my A/C compressor, Power Door Actuators, Power Window Regulators, Automatic Air Flow control units. I even have the Recycle Air Controller that is not longer available that is behind the glove box. I will say, that for a 1998 the leather front seats and leather upper door panels appeared to be restored. Leather stretches over time. There is no way that the driver seat would be that smooth. In fact, I have my original brochures. The seats and the door panels are supposed to be pleated. I do not see this is your model. I can also see the steering wheel has been rewrapped. The color is slightly off. The section that holds the wiper blade are aftermarket. From 1998 thru 2002 Honda continued with this body style. That's four years. After that, Honda when back to a frumpy looking Accord. In the past few years, they have dressed up the new Accords. However, the interior feels cheap. The carpeting is like indoor outdoor,, the interior is is the same color plastic, not wood tones. Basically no accents. If you have a son or daughter that just got their license, this would be the perfect vehicle for them.
