1998 Toyota Altezza RS200 Z Edition Walkaround

I’m posting this video for documentation of this cool JDM car. It checks a lot of boxes for a nice daily. I have some routine maintenance to tend to but after that some fun stuff. Stay tuned.

Just came across this video on my recommended, I have a 01 is300, absolutely beautiful car that toyota and Lexus created. Really catches the late 90s, early 2000s feel. Never heard of the Rs200 Z edition but I'm already in love with how it looks.

I'm from Japan. Looks in quite good condition. Neo bumpers are super rare and popular! It usulally costs more than ＄1,000 in Yahoo Auction. You are luck enough to get one of these. The prices of this sort of cars have skyrocketed here in Japan. Altezza has remained relatively affordable among these cars, but I'm defenate about the prospect of the price ascending farther soon.

Hey man, super clean example. I immediately noticed the BNR32 wheels. Funny how this is your daily driver and you own a Skyline as a project car, since it's kind off the same for me. I recently got an IS200 as a daily driver (Euro spec) and my project car is a Nissan Skyline (R34). Btw my Lexus also sits on Skyline stockies hahaha

Love the car! Just got my 99 rs200z in. So funny listening to your story and it is so similar to mine. I had an 05 is300, and sold it to get my altezza. My kids love it but wife does not as well. Keep us posted on the build! Also where did you get the greddy turbo kit? Those aren't readily available anymore every time I have looked

Really nice car! Are you located in the us? I have an rs200 coming in 2 weeks to use as a daily. What mpg do you get? Did you have any issues getting insurance? Any common problems I should look out for? Thanks

Yes, I’m in Memphis. I’d say upper 20’s mpg. My insurance is only $20/mo. since I have so many other cars. As far as problems just basic parts/maintenance so far. Turbo will be going on soon tho.
