I was at this concert, a big fan at only 16 years old. It may have been a fever dream but I had done a watercolor painting based on the black & white Newsweek cover. One of the security guards placed it on the stage and I swear Dylan held it up at some point. Was hoping this video would confirm that happened, but maybe someone else who attended can confirm?

Wonder if it is the same stage, where I saw Procol Harum in 1972? I visited the arrangers in their commune afterwards - they had another Dane visiting them (J. Holdt). The woman who took me to concert from Maryland (Landover Hills, where I lived in another commune)in her car - I would like to see again, too. and all the others - I lost my address-books. I was hitch-hiking round the States for 9 months and staying in Md, Raleigh NC, La Puente CA, Kansas City MO plus New York City. ...

@@dougthompson5586 great point!! I went to UMB grad school walking distance from Poe ‘s grave. Now that I think of it I can imagine how Poe poetry (and stories) may have influenced some of Dylan’s songs-mystery, death, violence, irony and eerie themes might have fascinated Dylan in his youth and elements have stuck. Poe must be smiling in his grave!!
