Dylan's a classic, I saw him play in the 70s and he introduced "Like a Rolling Stone" with the attitude he has here, "You'll remember how this one goes, well this is how it goes now" and kicked into a Reggae version. He plays what he wants when he wants and everyone just has to pick it up hence Eric's respectful smile.

You mean Eric Clapton & Bob Dylan musical icons and I so agree Clapton has a certain magic among friends and his circle of talent that not only harmonizes and creates great musical collaboration but what well respected friends do, he gets Dylan stage jitter his dry personality to gel and become one stage audience and musicians Dylan relaxes to Clapton 's greeting as his walks the stage, Clapton says a few words smiles they both smile an Clapton again pulls off a few chords to harmonize along Dylan key in they both soar. It is magical it is an expression of love and respect between these two men that brings the show to an all time Wow. Dylan moving legs in rhythm love it

This is just awesome. Many people think that the other musicians are playing the riffs, but it is Dylan himself who is playing them.. I saw him perform in Biloxi, MS at one of the casinos in the late 80s. I went down to the stage and was allowed to sit on the floor right in front of him. That is when I saw up close that he was playing the riffs and licks. Not the lead guitar player. That is when I first realized his talent as a guitarist. I got more than my money's worth that night. Plus a girl got up on stage and took off her top. Bob smiled, but never missed a beat. He was in the middle of his latest version of The Times They Are a Changin. The one with the descending bass notes on the chorus. He announced that he was playing Silvio for the first time on stage.

I nearly worship Dylan, Clapton, Van Morrison and all the rock greats of true sincerity. But I'd like to put in a note for people who aren't stars and have no hunger to be one. There's a great advantage to never having been famous or notorious for 'art' - and to be a simple private citizen of the universe. In old age meditation and contemplation of the end and what lies after becomes more and more intriguing and rewarding - all the rewards of physical life fade away and only the living moment is left - it is a real accomplishment in life to be unknown, means modest means and yet still love one's life and one's ability to be quiet and solitary without all the confetti and static that a public existence brings. So, give yourself a hug and a pat on the back - hell - give yourself a kiss! For finding value in consciousness without props and without expectations of reward outside the love inherent in creation.

Absolutely well said, it is a full time job maintaining a personal integrity that is not corporately owned media owned agent producer and all that comes with the likes of becoming truly great in your craft what's greater is how you treat people what mark you leave behind and create a love and life that you can be proud of well accomplished satisfactorily for yourself.
