I love the look of those old AmTrans with the high headroom, even the low headroom I think looks better on an Amtran than anything else

I also herd that sound last year a lot! In the pm’s I did not have a route bus so I was on almost every bus in boardman but I was on 15 and 45 and are not scraped, but I was on they both has manual doors that look a lot like that one! Oh and when bus 54 was sitting in are lot witch it was sitting for months!

@@BusBoy501Productions Fun fact, the factory that it was built in still stands, after Amtran merged with International to create IC the built all of the RE’s and FE’s till about 2008 or 2013 I don’t quite remember, they don’t make buses there anymore but International Trucks are still manufactured there.

My school our bus 10 is a 1992 international bluebird it has a manual transmission and it’s a spare bus I’ve rode it many times

The last of the Amtran’s in my area retired in 2014. In fact, the only one I rode was a 1996 Amtran Volunteer 3800 with a mechanical DT466, as that bus was listed as a spare.

I remember the only time I got to ride an AmTran was a later 90s 3800 with a t444e and it was for the company that my day camp used. Pretty cool fleet with lots of 90s buses including a shorty CBC 3800. Sadly around 2016 they changed to a different company with a better reputation and they have all CEs but they are specced nicely with chrome grilles and LEDs everywhere.
