1999 BMW 528 it radio stopped working ..no sound ,amplifier failed. overheating solved

radio continued w lights but no sound. originally i detected a burning smell n a crackling speaker sound,, silence ..u can check the 3 radio fuses in the glove but its usually a failed amp..just buy a good used one on ebay from a seller w good feed back...Overheating ,, the 2nd plastic vent screw failed.. slowly evaporated koolant n water and a 2nd failed koolant reservoir and a worn out radiator shroud ,,shroud is needed to divert heat.. buy brass vent screws,,,
