I love this body style. I worked for many years out of a 1997 Suburban and it was a tough truck and very comfy. I've always wanted a 2 door version of the Tahoe or Yukon. They're hard to find in decent shape. Most have been beat up pretty bad. At least the one's I've found. Finally I found what seems to be a well kept in original condition 1997 GMC Yukon Z71 in Atlanta. It's about 4 hours East. I'm headed out there tomorrow and if everything checks out I'm buying it. I love your truck and I hope to have one soon. Cheers!

I just had it serviced. As you probably heard, I drove this one home from the Atlanta area and it's ready to hit the highway again. I would also consider helping out the next caretaker of this awesome coupe by delivering it, to help out. The wife and I have decided to get back into camping with a 5er so I have purchased a heavy duty RAM to pull it and just have too many vehicles around here. My wife is understanding, but only to a point! LOL

Jay - Thanks. And you're a funny man. Or maybe you don't know the difference between Tahoe and Blazer. If so, you should recheck the title of this video, you'll see that this is a 1999 TAHOE (truck frame). Then go to Google and search 1999 BLAZER to see the difference. The Blazer was a little SUV on a car frame. My wife had one, great little SUV. If I had a nickel for every time somebody told me that I had a nice looking Blazer, I'd be a rich man. If I didn't care about appearance, I'd install a big windshield banner that says TAHOE in big white letters. I'll then mention to them that it is indeed a TAHOE versus a BLAZER, and they always respond with, well, same thing. WELL ACTUALLY, is my next response. It's like using the word Venti at Starbucks to get a Large. They are not the same, not even close. Thanks for bringing up a good point - "If you know, you know". I recently sold this Tahoe for really good money, to a car guy. The buyer is in the classic car industry and he knew what it was, and the rarity of this truck, in this spec, in this condition. Yeah, my first online auction purchase went sideways for a bit. But I have to say, the owner, Luis was so awesome to work with on this acquisition! He did what he could to smooth things out and was not impressed with the company's handling of things either. He was very accommodating meeting the timing that I needed due to flying down to him and he is a true car guy. Plus I got to hang with my friend Ken in Roswell, GA, another car guy. All worth it too. Coopay is a fantastic rig and the perfect second car for me. Thanks for the comment!

Nice truck! I've got a black 99' 4x4 barn door w/ 130K. It's crazy how far engines have come in 25 years. I remember my friends having these in high school and never thought for a minute they were under powered, but now going from my daily to this truck, it seems like a such a dog even though it runs perfect. It's a bummer that for the money and work it takes to get these 5.7 to make the power of stock LS you mine as well just put an LS in it. But I hate to pull a 130K perfectly good motor. Kind of a bummer having your "toy" vehicle be slower than your daily, but still love it.

Oh man,mine is rearer ,98 Ls 4x4 2 door 6,5 td with barndoors , 140000 miles on the clock , same interior.......... Had it as a dayly driver for last 15 years,some rust is appearing,but drives like it supposed to , only issues I had to deal with is nomal maintense,like brakes ,oil and tires.
