This video was my guide to replacing the pins on my 1999 Suburban c1500. Your view of where the copper washers go was key to this working beautifully. Thank you.

Did you have any issues replacing them??? I have a 2000 tahoe limited OBS. I took out the factory bushings which which were make of thin metal and used some Autozone pin kits. They are made of brass they were a bit too big and I grounded them and they failed fast. Then I purchased ac delco bushings which I saw your truck had. And they were also too big. Will I have to bore out the whole a bit to accommodate the bushings?? Thank you

You shouldn't have to bore out the holes. Using a small hammer and some 3/8" extensions, the bushings should tap in without too much effort. I've only done this one job and it went pretty well. GM has a bad design with these and they just don't last very long. If you get two years you are probably doing pretty good. There are a couple other pretty good videos out there.
