Could be clogged injectors will cause it to feel like misfire. Running it low on fuel picks up the debris at bottom of tank. That happened to my Suburban. Idle feels like misfire but when I drive it, its very smooth.

I have to stop driving my Intrepid because it's leaking antifreeze out of something in the front. Possibly just a hose. They feel a little warped from being old. It has 275,000 miles. I'm going to jack it up and see. It's a freaking goat. It never stops running. Unfortunately other parts do break though.

I've had old radiator hoses delaminate and leak on me. Good luck!

I had a 2003 Intriped, I'm a big Dodge guy but I hated that car, had no heat in it, so after the head gasket blew I scraped it, an in few hrs already had a 2004 Dodge Ram with the Hemi.

Im thinking about buying a 98-99 Durango with 5.2 engine. Im debating should i or shouldn’t i buy it. I already own a 2005 Suburban Z71 that refuses to die with 360k+ miles and an 07 Yukon 4x4 with 230k+ miles either way im not as skilled as you are and will get taxed up the wazzoo by shops for the work. I find it weird that the huge house on wheels Suburban gets better fuel economy than the smaller Durango. Think it gets better or same as my WJ 4.0L Jeep that was stolen buy a punk back in 14, before he had an extended stay in prison.

Good luck! Best I can say is as long as the transmission is serviced properly, they're usually alright. And I wouldn't buy one quite as rusty as mine if I were you lol
