Just did this in my 1997 Chrysler Town & Country. Seems to work great. It's not the same relays though -- on mine it was the second and third relays from the front, not the first and second. Mine also didn't require the jumper, I just left the hi/lo relay in. And the bonus is that while you have to turn them on with the toggle, the stalk still works for switching them to "high". In every other position, including off, they work at low speed if the new toggle switch is on. The switch wire is soldered to the pole closest to the passenger side of the vehicle -- pole "85". I had the wire and toggle switch on hand so this repair was nearly free. Beats $700 for a new BCM.

So you left the hi/low relay as is and soldered a switch to the WIPER relay pole 85 (the pole on left side of relay as you look from front of vehicle?)

@@radioboy75 Thanks. Having a challenge finding a place to run the wire through the firewall. Can you describe where you passed your wire? I am thinking somewhere near the gas pedal.

@@ms38355 There's a rubber grommet maybe an inch and a half in diameter up and to the left of the gas pedal. Kind of behind and above the brake pedal. Peal back the carpet and it should be easy to find. You may have to remove the cowl under the dash (2 plastic quarter-turn screws) to peal back the carpet.

I've tried everything to fix my wipers. Looks like I'm left with this option so.. people shouldn't be so judgmental. This may be the ONLY option for some of us.

where do you get info on what relay does what i have a 96 and the first relay is accessory the 2nd is hi/lo wiper speed and 3rd is the wiper power
