This is the Miami I know and love. They seem to care more about uniforms now that wins. Here they ran a 4-3 attacking defense and an offense that featured a fullback to help the power running game. That's the U.

From watching this you could see the foundation was set for a dynasty. From this game until now if Butch Davis would have stayed at Miami he would have won at least 6 national titles and that's a conservative number. Now Butch is a has been, fired from North Carolina because of a scandal. So sad.

It's amazing the difference great players make. Got to 7:15 and watch the TD pass Dorsey throws to Wayne. When Jacory Harris made that pass the past 2 years it was intercepted every time.

Thats right...Butch Davis made an ultimatum to Kenny Kelly around week 8, the ultimatum was either commit to UM football or play baseball and quit the team. Kenny Kelly chose to play baseball and thats when Ken Dorsey took the reins and never looked back.

Not how it happened. Kelly was supposed to be back for the 2000 season but got drafted to MLB and broke the news in the summer. In the 99 Boston College game he suffered a high ankle sprain that’s why Dorsey made his first college start against #2 Freshman Vick led Virginia Tech

I was at this game in person and I will tell you this, we taught the Jackets a harsh and painful lesson. Do not mess with #TheU or you pay the price. GT would pay the price big time after this one was over and done with.
