The japanese language does not have a stand alone "t" sound. All consonants are paired with vowels. His name may be indeed "Callitt". An example Restaurant-レストラン-Resutoran *Note-"ン/ん" "N/M" is just the closing off of the throat making an m/n sound it actually neither.

He was always a he. That's togashi's trademark. Creating cutest characters and making them male. Like kurama from yuyu Its just that in hxh he did a lot of them. Kurapika was very feminine in the old 99. Even reacting shyly when gon was innocently looking at his crotch area. Although gon wasnt even looking at it kurapika just presumed he was lol. And the zoldycks brothers are very feminine looking like especially the black haired ones exfept for milluki.

@@maosama3695 I have to disagree most of the characters you just mentioned have distinct male features though, even if they’re drawn to look a little feminine, even illumi in both versions you can tell he’s a male, even though he has a feminine look. Kalluto you would never guess is a male because of the very distinct feminine traits he possesses, the mole in the bottom left, his eyes being purple and somewhat seductive, his long hair, the small lips, small nose, the kimono, and best of all both voices from the ‘99 and 2011 literally sound like their voiced by females. You can’t tell me that he wasn’t drawn as a little girl.
