1999 Mercedes Benz W202 C200 Start Up, Sound and Tour

Awesome, My first merc was the C180 Version. And keep in mind i use to have a Fairmont ghia. So going from Barra to c180 Took some getting use to :P All good now as you know got my W211 :)

They're a great little motor. How does yours go with the more old school throttle system and what not?

@@jetstream454 It sort of takes me back in time. I feel like driving it to a law library or a river or perhaps the law courts. It is also a pleasant experience looking at the three points bonnet mounted star. My previous car was a Holden Astra...had a lot of safety issues. I enjoy a degree of fineness in my Mercedes-Benz.

Hi Joe! I am in Australia, hence the accent 😉 We don't see so many c230s as we do C180, C180k, C200, C200k, etc. Mine is Classic trim

Jamie Lange Yeah man the motor mounts for cheap I think I paid about 50 or $60 for the two and it also came with the transmission mount. There’s a guy that did a KZbin video on how to change them. Look it up it’s the only one on KZbin really. It took me less than an hour to do it and I am no mechanic! FYI I sold my c230 yesterday! I am going to look at a 1994 e320 today!

Jamie i have deleted my posts. Stick with benz but steer clear of ML they are nothing but trouble my mate had a 2008 320cdi and it was at dealer more than on road. Your cars fine. It pisses me off with the its cold you was about the 10th. If you do get w210 change front wishnones they rust inside out

I'm thinking of a facelift W163 (up to '05), they have some average quality plastics inside but have an ok rap for reliability. They had low range also unlike the rest of the line after it. If only I could afford a G class! 😂 Question: How come you repeated your point a few times? That's all, I'll move past it as well 🙂 In face best I delete my cold comment, also given it's your friend's Valk 😂

You make a video of the car but you do not talk too much about the car. Also, you do not have a flow of thought about what are you sharing... Get organized in your thoughts and plan the flow of the discussion. Don't fiddle with the sound system, have it ready as your record and start maybe with I as you could turn it off soon afterwards... Do your homework and watch some well put together reviews and try to reproduce the good while keeping your own style.

Very good advice, and most of it is something I need to keep in mind in most situations. As for the sound system, most people tend to show the functions of those, mine was glitching out and not hooking up for some reason. I believe I need a list in future 😅 P.s. Sorry for the late reply!

Hey cool, twins! Yeah mine was because the wire to what I assume is a sensor underneath the front passenger seat wasn't connected, unplugged sometime before I got the car. I reconnected it since and the "Airbag OFF" light and SRS went out, and they only come on for a few seconds when accessories is on/startup.

@@AndyRudnik Nice! You got the first of the 5-speed autos I assume also. They are sturdy cars, comfort Is getting there the more I fiddle with the seat (yes, even after 5 years) but I'm no longer getting sore 😂 Highway handling is excellent.

@@jetstream454 I changed the whole new suspension dampers! New brakes! Since age rust was very strong! I regularly change the engine oil filters and spark plugs! .there is rust on the body, it can still be removed without much effort, but this year I will remove it, otherwise it will be much harder to do it later! Mileage 88 thousand miles! The engine runs great! The gearbox shifts perfectly!.
