1999 was really that last year Jackson looked happy & healthy. From the year 2000, up-until his death in 2009, he looked so (extremely) unhealthy & miserable. His eyes were a dead giveaway, it’s as if he was already gone, dead, before his actual death in 2009. You can tell a lot by one’s eyes, and Jackson’s were telling a story of sickness, both mental & physical. He had ‘dead eyes’, for many years. Rather sad to be honest.

This year 1999 shows me why Michael was taken down by The Conspirators. He was going STRONG on his humanitarian efforts & trying to restore what he was derailed from in 1993. Using his music & celebrity power to transform society on the grandest scale. The Dangerous concert was supposed to be all for charity & he would have made major marks if he finished that tour. December 31, 1993 was supposed to be the end date & he would have moved so much stronger into another stratosphere as an artist who could LITERALLY Heal The World through a song & dance. He would set the example. The 1990s was envisioned by Michael as a decade merging his humanitarian efforts & his artistic efforts closer than ever. He wanted multimedia presence in movies, videogames, & other mediums to fortify his star power & message. All of it was to influence others to follow his path in their own way. The GOAT bringing out the Greatness in us all. That's why he was derailed with the allegations. And after going through the HIStory era under siege, he was ready to reestablish what he set out to do at the beginning of the decade. He was gonna make the 2000s what he intended for the 1990s. And 'The Powers' can't have that. So they persistently stumbled him all throughout the decade with bullshit up until his murder. This shows us that we have to continue in our own way what he exampled for us here. That man was a damn hero & nobody can tell me any different.

Totally agree. It seems that the "press" and "government" made the most hell for MJ than any false accusers. @@samiam2003, I don’t believe that this _stupid, dumb_ name -- as _disgusting_ of a slur against _ONLY ONE person alone_ as it is -- had, necessarily, anything to do with anything particularly or specifically racial in nature. This slur was only ever used by sensationalistic, attention-seeking, money-hungry/greedy “journalists,” and others in the so-called “mainstream” media, to draw the interest of the general public towards _ANYTHING_ the least bit negative that could _possibly_ be used against _ONE_ single individual (whose family has a fairly common surname, “ _Jackson_ ”), a man who just so happened to have been one of THE _MOST_ famous Black modern-day celebrities who ever existed. It was used against a BLACK _MAN_ whose success with his album, “ _Thriller,_ ” and his $47.5 million-dollar purchase and _OWNERSHIP_ of the “ _A.T.V._ ®” Music catalogue in 1985 was viewed by the majority of the industry powers-that-be -- who ran the entertainment/music business at that time, many of whom are probably _STILL_ running it right now, _today_ -- as a “threat” to the success, popularity and high position of the White so-called “stars” who actually had far _LESS_ musical talent (that is/was.... _IF_ they ever had any such “musical talent” at all, which was much more like “a serious _LACK_ thereof,” but yet, who were _SO_ very heavily promoted, praised and put up on high as “ _THE Greatest of ALL Time,_ ” praised by both the media _AND_ the industry as “sacred,” people whose _true_ reputations were either mostly _not_ to ever come to light, or such scandalous reputations were mainly ignored) than the Black artists who were often discriminated against _because of_ both obvious _AND_ subtle forms of racism. The name was only used against _ONE_ person, _Michael Joseph Jackson,_ and _NOT_ against an entire population-group simply and solely because of its ethnicity/race. It was used as a way to question Michael’s mental health/sanity, emotional and psychological state simply because his behavior, outward physical appearance and personal interests, etc., never fit in with “conventional” and stereotypical ideas of what one “should”/“ought to” look, sound, act like, behave like, or what one “should” be interested in. He just so happened to have _been_ Black with a common last name ( “ _Jackson_ ” ), he wasn’t called by that nasty, disgusting slur just because he _was_ Black. That’s a _HUGE_ mistake many people make, when it comes to things like this. There are differences between the use of an _obvious_ racial slur/epithet against one or more members of an entire group, and using a disgusting, stupid, ignorant rhyming slur (one that _rhymes_ with a _deliberately_ and _purposely_ negative mis-spelling/mis-pronunciation of a common family surname) that questions the mental health/sanity of _ONE_ single individual who just so happens to _BE_ Black, because the physical appearance, behavior and interests of this person seem to be “different” from the standard societal “norm,” and the individual is labelled as “crazy.”

There's footage of him recording in the studio with Beyonce and Barry Gibb in 2001 (I think it's for "What More Can I GIve") and you can really see the damage; his lip doesn't move at all as he's recording his lines. It's quite alarming

In 2001 it was worse. At the Hall of fame induction with Nysnc he could barely move his mouth. I was in denial as a fan at the time, but he did look very odd.

He didn't look like that at the WMA 2000 so this is more than likely make up and contouring. It definitely wasn't that on 2001 though.
@URBuggin782 жыл бұрын
His top lip doesn't move anymore so it covers his top row of teeth, it was particularly bad for at least a few years due to some bad botox or surgery. Also around this time his eyes have that droopy/sleepy appearance due to whatever prescription medication he was on. It doesn't help that his make-up was pretty bad and overdone in that clip. Way too much black under-eye liner, too much white liner on his waterline, too much eyeshadow making his eyes look even droopier and too much obvious lip liner that doesn't match his lip colour. I don't know how much of that was his decision vs. Karen Faye (his make-up artist), but it wasn't a great look.

You can see Michael in 1999 has aged significantly compared how he looked in 1991
@NewChannel90002 жыл бұрын
He looked pretty much the same, to _me,_ since around 1992-’93 on up to his passing in _2009._ Just that: •His _hairstyles_ would change, from time to time. •His _weight_ would fluctuate slightly, every once in a while, though he had _ALWAYS_ been very small and skinny for his height. •His _clothing styles_ having changed every so often. •The physical effects of having _aged._ •Changes in _the way he wore his cosmetic face make-up,_ that also gave people the idea that he looked “different” from that point onwards.
@NewChannel90002 жыл бұрын
I don’t think so, @KaKa-King. By his Mid-30’s in 1992-’93, Michael looked absolutely _NOTHING_ like he did from his childhood/youth up to around his Early-30’s, during any _previous_ point in his entire life and career, from the first time the general public* (* _outside of_ where the _Jackson_ family had _ORIGINALLY_ hailed from in _Gary, Indiana_ ) had first seen him and his brothers make their national/international début shortly after they signed up with _Motown,_ towards the very end of the 1960’s/turn of the 1970’s. From then on, _until_ around 1992-’93, his outward physical appearance had changed quite drastically, in no small part due to the physical effects of puberty/adolescence, and his having matured and grown up from a “cute” child to a full adult, the surgeries done on his nose👃🏾(which greatly reduced its size, narrowed it down and changed its shape), the devastating effects of scalp-burn injuries he suffered in 1984 (while on the set with his brothers, filming a commercial for “ _Pepsi_ ”®) -- which caused him to have had to wear hairpieces, extensions, and full-on wigs for the rest of his life -- and, his medical diagnosis of not just one, but _TWO_ separate autoimmune disorders, probably at around the same time as the accident ( _D.L.E./S.L.E. Lupus_ and _Vitiligo Universalis,_ during the peak of his success with “ _Thriller_ ”), conditions that otherwise _could_ have very severely disfigured him, had he _not_ privately sought and received treatment for their symptoms. By the Early-1990’s’ “ _Dangerous_ ” era, however, Michael’s appearance had basically stabilized and settled into a very unique “look” for him; By then, his facial features had an appearance of their own -- the big, _BEAUTIFUL_ eyes 👁👁 and the eyebrows having a natural “arch” to them, the small, narrow and upturned nose 👃🏾, the high cheekbones and strong _NATURALLY_ square-shaped jawline (with the slight dimple/cleft in his chin further enhanced and made more noticeable in the Late-1980’s’ “ _BAD_ ” era), along with his skin just about having turned completely white (partly because of the progression of his _Vitiligo_ skin condition and partly because of the treatment he received for it [to depigment his skin and even out the few remaining dark spots and discoloration], and the facial and full body make-up he wore to conceal the condition’s effects) -- though there would only be the very, very _few_ relatively _minor_ changes in his physical appearance (if there ever actually _were_ any changes in it at all), that I had described in an earlier comment, since “ _Dangerous._ ”
@NewChannel90002 жыл бұрын
@KaKa-King, I don’t understand what you mean by doctors’ “building” Michael’s nose, when he _ALWAYS_ had one and it was never missing from his face. It was just smaller, more upturned and narrower. If the doctors who worked on his nose did the repair surgeries to correct any breathing problems he had that resulted from that botched _original_ rhinoplasty done when he was either late in his teens or very early in his 20’s, after he broke his nose -- corrective surgery which _he_ claimed had really helped him to be able to sing better -- then, it’s understandable as a _legitimate_ reason for having the surgeries done in the first place (that, along with other procedures done on his nose to get rid of scar-tissue that had developed there, when previous wounds hadn’t properly healed, because of _Lupus_ ), instead of something purely superficial and cosmetic.

@NewChannel90002 жыл бұрын
No, he didn’t, @@naielmusic. By 1992-’93, he looked _absolutely NOTHING_ like he appeared during any time in _the whole entire two full decades_ of the 1970’s and ’80’s, from around 1969-’70 up to that point during the early part of the “ _Dangerous_ ” era, when his outward physical appearance had _finally_ begun to have stabilized in the last 16 or 17 years of his life -- from then on, up until he had passed -- and, this “look” became _unique_ for him.
