- Braves-Mets rivalry was awesome, 1998-2001 - Amazing job by Pat Mahomes Sr (yes, the father of the KC quarterback), coming in out of the bullpen in the first inning and not allowing an earned run and only one hit on four innings, after Leiter had no control on this start on 3-days-rest - Kenny Rogers also had a bases-loaded-walk in game 2 of the Division Series against Arizona - A forgettable bullpen appearance for Smoltz. I guess he wont be in his bullpen A-game until starting in August 2001 till the end of the 2004 season, when he became a sensational bullpen pitcher/closer - Melvin Mora was amazing for the Mets in this postseason, both offensively and defensively - John Franco (bottom of the 8th) and then Armando Benitez (bottom of the 10th).... just wow - Benitez also blew game 4 against Arizona in the Division Series (but the Mets won that game in the end), and Benitez almost blew game 4 against Atlanta in the top of the 9th inning when Ozzie Guillen almost hit a game tying home run, but it went foul just barely, and the Mets won that game in the end

Ricky the og mlb swag, Tatis and those other clowns ain’t got shut on Rickey. Guy made a living at being patient smart and quick with a pretty dam good bat. One of the few players ever to have two 9.9 war seasons. 111career war puts him as the best lead off hitter ever and best stolen base guy ever and is second best at getting walks only behind bonds

Olerud is from Washington state and he wanted to play for his state team, the Mariners. Olerud was leaving to the Mariners unless they didnt give him an offer or unless the Mets broke their bank account for him
