Christopher Wiley Antley (1966-2000) set two record which, I think, no other jockey has equalled or surpsassed yet: In 1987 he became the first rider to win nine races in a different day and in 1989 he won at least one race a day for 64 days straight days. He won. He was inducted into the National Museum and Hall of Fame in Saratoga Springs, New York.

I handicapped Charismatic in the KD for a whole $5.00 to win and place....low and behold I won....wishing I had put 50 bucks on that horse....but horse trainer and owner played an influential part in my decision to go with this horse. I 've since been a member of a 12 step group on gambling, and been abstinent since May 2001

Charismatic, the move he made in the preakness, on the final turn, reminded me of his grandpop, SECRETARIAT------ derby, i quess he has some of his jeans, horses usually don't make up that much ground on the turn.

It was such a different story for Antley this time as his previous Derby winner Strike the Gold was difficult to ride and there was definitely a love/hate relationship, whereas he just admired Charismatic so much.
