mean! the alternator (sotty for my american speech) gives about 18-19 kilowatts of pure diesel 100V / 60Hz energy. Enough for, hmmm, three houses or a road-repairing team to work. I'm petty sure that it was a stand-by emergency source of a ... office building or a hospital or a rescue-team used it for energizing big objects. Big socket shows that it was supposed to be connected directly to a switchboard. Maybe, one of the gauges is a synchronoscope.

Never seen one like that before... In europe they´re pretty common as a truck. They still make it to this day on! Best selling "small truck in Europe..."

I would sell the generator and turn it into a support van/hauler. would be perfect for the job. damn cool as well!

In Kenya, though not so common, we use remove the generator and fill up the space with seats and then use it as a 14 seater passenger van

some things I think you missed out is it has a exhaust brake on the wiper blade stalk which you can leave on and it comes on automatically or you can use it manually by moving the lever up position also where you mentioned about the controls on the lower right there is or should be a knob that you turn it is an idle up control. hope this helps also.

we got a Dyna at work, one of the latest models. It's a pickup style truck with the shortest wheelbase possible, what a turd to drive. Speedbumps are a nightmare, cabin is so small you almost get claustrophobic, and as you sit on the front wheels steering feels weird. But boy does it go, has a 3litre turbodiesel engine iirc.

That monster power cable is past its safe life. At 8:10 you can clearly see very bad surface cracks in the rubber jacket of that cable.

the cab truck versions are used widely in Australia and NewZealand and they Dyna van version only sold in new zealand. I think this one is a 4little diesel engine has exhaust brakes on wiper stalk and idle up control on right hand side next to hill start assist. is commercial made to work.

Hey Derrick I enjoy watching your videos everytime !! I would like to suggest one thing though, you should try and get a camera stand, that would make the video sequences look alot more professional. cheers and greets from germany :)
