Felt like it was built from an IKEA store and not homey at all, very industrial.

that is the point, altena and their collaborators make industrial "function over form" trawler and/or expedition style yachts with relatively solid sea keeping abilities. that being said whats so particularly ikea about it? and how does that work in this context, neither the furniture looks DYI nor does the boat.
