Exactly what I was looking for. Thank you! Just bought a tie rod kit with ball joints, also cv axles. I will return them and just buy higher end aftermarket or OEM.

Bummer. I love 1A Auto too but I wouldn’t trust TRQ with everything.

Thanks for this. Was looking to redo my front suspension. The 1AAuto suspension kit for $150 is an incredible deal, but I knew it was likely a lot lower quality. I guess I'll be forking over the $500+ for some MOOG suspension parts

For sure avoid anything with ball joints. I did have good luck with their TRQ shocks on my Tahoe though. They're about 2 years old. More and more I'm finding better deals for name brand stuff on Amazon.

Same happen to me when I bought 1A Auto front suspension kit for my Subaru. Changed struts twice in less than 15k due to strut bearing mounts, ball joint rubber boot cracked open in less than 20k. There customer service is very quick to handle all Warranty matters but when you gotta do the math of having to do realignment and time of repair for DIY’s it’s best just to go for OEM or higher quality part. I wished the parts were better quality like their KZbin vids.

I used duralast tie rods on my jeep. They didn't last long at all. I didn't bother with the warranty. If I remember right they lasted like 7k to 10k miles.

@@MakeItMike I've never had to do tie rods due to my street queen driving style. Who makes good ones?

@@tomblobasjamesc.mccollum1740 Im currently using Moog off Rock Auto. I've put a little over 30k miles on them so far and it's been good. They are lifetime warranty but you have to pay for return shipping on the swap.

Im currently dealing with this now. However they did honor the warranty the first time. I really don’t wanna try them for a 3rd time around though, the warranty doesnt mean much if the parts are poop!

Thanks for the video. Glad you made the video. I tried moog and unfortunately, same outcome. I though moog were supposed to be good but I guess not. Does no one make good quality Autopart aside from oem!? This is frustrating

Just purchased new front brake rotors for my 98 Jeep TJ. The description stated that they fit my Jeep in stock form (which it is). Upon removing the stock rotors I noticed the TRQ replacement they sent is offset a 1/4" deeper than the stock rotor and will not allow installation of the caliper! I purchased a new set from Advance Auto and they are an exact fit! TRQ is garbage in my opinion! Bye, A1! 🖐

If you're on a budget and you have to by all means do it. Just keep in mind they will not last the 20 years 170k with little to no maintenance like the OEM ones did. I bought them again know this so i will keep an eye on them.

How many parts did you installed in your car?
@MakeItMike Жыл бұрын
I did 1A auto inner and outer tie rods, lower control arms with ball joints and front and rear shocks. Everything but the shocks failed in the first 3000 miles. When the shocks wore out, 1a auto refused to honor the lifetime warranty.

LOL your web page states a guaranteed fit yet all your videos have a disclaimer dismissing the guarantee. This is the exact same junk I can buy at Amazon for 30% less but Amazon will let you return items, this place you have to fight them and then they keep part of your money.
@MakeItMike17 күн бұрын
Yep, they did that same thing to me with my Tahoe shocks.
@tevinmathes95662 ай бұрын
It think they failed early cuz of your driving the parts aren't built fo off roadin bra all that dirt under there you got a par of 6 mouth old tie rod ends looking like they been on the truck 30years
