Be careful when putting the cover back.. I somehow managed to brake the mounting point for the door opening lever.. Had to drill. In to the plastic and zip tie it down.

I watched this video before I replaced the door check on the front and rear door on my 2003 Mazda 6 I, I removed the window button panel the lock button first, I didn’t get the door trim loose then mess around with unplugging the window and lock connector, I also didn’t unplug or remove that little speaker.

I love my MazdaSpeed 6. But, dammit, Mazda uses some downright ridiculous fasteners for such trivial things as a speaker cable. It’s enraging. It’s like they want to make sure you’re taking it to the dealership for every little thing.

The tweeter connection is very difficult to undo and much easier to break. You are as well to undo the the screws and take the tweeter out to give you more room to operate. Also with the door courtesy bulb you must remove it. Make sure it’s not hot.

Very irritating, she's not capable of disconnecting various electrical connectors. Not enough strength in her fingers or something...
