Great video! I have a 2010 Toyota Corolla LE with 128k and has been pretty reliable. But recently my check engine light and VSC tracking light were flashing two weeks back on my 2010 Corolla LE. At that time I had just filled my gas tank and noticed a strong gas vapor as I drove out of the gas station. Didn't think of it much as I thought it was some other car. Later on, I got the check engine lights and VSC tacking lights. My mechanic diagnosed the code as P0456 Evap Emission Control System Leak detected (very small leak). So, they replaced the gas cap with an OEM and reset the codes. So far the lights have not come on. Went to the gas station yesterday and filled up my tank. After I started driving, I smelled a strong gas vapor/fume. I pulled over and then opened the trunk after turning off the car and could smell the gas vapors/fumes in there. Is this a bad charchoal canister or vent? The smell of gasoline vapor seems to be there only after I fill up my gas tank. Otherwise, I don't get that smell and I never ovefill the gas tank.

*Funny that fuel pump looks brand new, the sticker on top is even super clean. Meaning someone already misdiagnosed or, halfway installed it because the problems around it would have been fixed with the new fuel pump assembly*

I found out it was caused by my catalytic converter’s failing because they were not disputing everything correctly through.

I have a 2008 pt cruiser that is leaking gas from the seal where they hose goes in to the gas tank leaking from the seal it's got threads on the seal the hose goes in to the tank

My Car always smelled like gas/ exhaust but only from the inside. I used to get light headed while driving. The dealer kept telling me that they didnt detect anything. Eventually they changed the charcoal canister. Didnt help much. Stopped driving it.

Those gas tank "ears" look like they were damaged from punch a earlier fuel pump replacement, not rusted off. Although there was plenty of rust to go around. Could do without all the hand and arm gesturing while talking.
