i have 2005 325i and just replaced injectors and you video was very helpful, my ignition rail that clips to injectors does not have the secong plug in the middle of the intake, although there is a broken piece in the hole. any thoughts

It would of been nice if in the video you would of shown why you removed the fuel rail, once you had it removed a commercial started for A1 auto then the video restarted with you reinstalling the Fuel rail I was hoping you would show how to clean the Fuel Rail as I’m getting Code P171 & P174 lean fuel mixture .

You don't need to remove those clips on the injectors. You just pry up gently on the electrical connection

I have to change a fuel pump in my e46 tomorrow on a full tank and I read that I may have to dig into the rail/injectors. One question I have is about my strut bar, do you think I’ll have to remove it?

The fuel pump is in the passenger side back seat .. you don't have to go under the hood with e46s

How do I disconnect the injector from the Rail to see if the fuel is being pumped and remove Water? (Skipped that part...!)

Hi, I have a 2004 330Ci. It is leaking fuel from the injectors only at below freezing temperatures. It always starts/runs perfect and doesn’t leak at normal temps. Is it worth replacing o rings? Or are ‘04 injectors known to leak from the injector body when freezing? If I have to replace injectors do you have to calibrate? Thank you for any recommendations/advice

Rim replacing the Starter on a 2000 323ci and I need to remove the Manifold. Can the manifold be removed without removing the fuel rail? The clips securing the injector electrical connectors are placed awkwardly. Years ago I removed the manifold to replace the Coolant Temperature Sensor. It wasn't that difficult then. I must have reinstalled things incorrectly.

You can use Vaseline on the injector seals - it is petroleum jelly, after all, and these seals are sitting in fuel.

Can you clean them with carb cleaner ? How you know if they not good anymore ? My bmw 325xi won’t start without starting fluid and it’s not the pump or the filter replaced as a rookie watching your videos 😂 did good doe thanks

+Jrock_464 Thanks for checking us out! Hard starting. One of the first symptoms of a potential problem with the fuel rail sensor is hard starting. Decrease in power, acceleration and fuel efficiency. Another symptom of a potential problem with the vehicle's fuel rail sensor is engine performance issues.

When you pull the injectors out from their hole can you spray carb cleaner in the holes to clean a bit?
