After years of doing my brakes (2013 Chrysler 200) and never bleeding the brakes, I've always wondered why my pedals always went down just to slow down. I watched this video 3 times and bled my brakes out like you showed with my lady pumping the brakes while I did the bleeding 2 nights ago and now my brakes feel tighter and when I press halfway down it feels way better (like it suppose to). I know I'm late but Thank you 1A!!

After watching so many videos and After 3 days all day of trying different methods on bleeding the breaks I finally did it, I have breaks once again. With new rotors and pads on all four installed and full flush and it's now working better then ever I'm set. I'm glad I don't have to go through this again anytime soon. 👌👇🤘💪

I greatly appreciate your video. Out of all the videos on here, yours was the best one. I just finished a rear brake job on my 06 HHR and it was a horrible experience. I don't ever want to go through that ever again. The worst part were the main springs. Took two days to finish. Thank you for all your help!

This is the best and simplest way to remove *all* the air from a brake line. The main local auto parts store sell an inexpensive clear fuel hose that's meant for a small engine, it's ID is 3/16" and OD is 5/16". It's located out on the floor with the other small engine stuff meant for lawnmowers and such. The clear hose will make it easy to see the air coming out of the bleeder screw and make it easy to identify when air is no longer in the system. Get a 12oz Gatorade bottle, take the label off of it and dry it out completely. Using a 5/16" drill bit, drill a hole in the cap of the Gatorade bottle, the fuel hose will fit snug in this hole. Using a smaller drill bit, drill a second hole in the cap to vent air as the bottle fills with brake fluid. Use the method in the video, but do it several times. Sometimes it takes several attempts to get *all* the air out. Also, periodically check your fluid level, do not let the reservoir get empty. Note: this method is also great for flushing your brake system and replacing with fresh fluid. Also worth mentioning, this process is also good for bleeding a hydraulic clutch on a manual transmission. Hope this helps anyone who happens to read this comment.

My buddy and I installed new brakes and calipers on my 2008 Ford Ranger, and we’ve done the bleeding procedure correctly, but for whatever reason there is no pressure in the system as whenever I turn the truck on to test if the brakes work, the pedal immediately goes to the floor, but when the truck is off, it’s firm. We both highly doubt the master cylinder has failed as I had great braking power beforehand, and we don’t know if air got into the ABS module or not. I’m at a loss for ideas as to what our issue is. Any tips or pointers would be greatly appreciated.

Am I able to bleed the brakes with the ABS system with not having a scan tool? Also shouldn't have to worry about air getting in the ABS system as long as the reservoir is full to right?

Does not matter as long as there is always enough fluid in the reservoir. Don’t want to let it run dry because then you will let more air in the system and have to start over again
