There's a piece of foam behind the front bumper. We were kind of just pushing it into place so that we could get all of the bolts in.

This piece would be part of the front bumper skid plate or also known as the air deflector

I have a 2015 Nissan Versa. I need to replace my front bumper. I hit a dog on the way to work and took have of my bumper off. I don't see that under plate. I was wondering if my car suppose to have on. And can I replace my bumper the same as this one?

+lmmiller48 Thank you for checking us out. The under plate is a splash shield and is recommended for the vehicle if it was factory equipped. This will limit the water or dirt/dust combination from getting up into the engine bay which could soak some of the electrical components. You should be able to replace the bumper in a similar fashion to this, but hardware sizes and orientation may differ slightly. 1aauto.com
