INGREDIENTS :
BHINDI - 250 GM (LADY FINGER)
SALT - ½ + ½ TSP
RED CHILLI POWDER - ½ + ½ TSP
TURMERIC POWDER - ½ + ¼ TSP
LEMON JUICE - 1 TABLESPOON
GRAMFLOUR - 2 TABLESPOON
EDIBLE OIL - 1 + 2 TABLESPOON
CUMIN SEEDS - ½ TSP
ASAFOETIDA - ¼ TSP
GREEN CHILLI - 2, FINELY CHOPPED
GINGER - 1 INCH
ONION (MEDIUM) - 2 (INNER PART, FINELY CHOPPED AND OUTER PART CUT INTO CUPS)
TOMATO (SMALL) - 2, FINELY CHOPPED
CORIANDER SEEDS POWDER - 1.5 TSP
DAHI / CURD - ½ CUP
GARAM MASALA - ½ TSP
CORIANDER LEAVES - 2 TABLESPOON

To get the best result of eating veggies we have to keep it simple and less spicy my mom says. It is true as well. Cook veggies only with one onion and half tomato for few and tadka is enough. The original taste of each vegitable is better than making it artificial

We have minimally cooked veggies with negligible oil and spices on regular basis. But once in a while we indulge in spicy oily food just to have the feel of restaurant food. This saves tremendous amount of money that goes in expensive restaurants. Now my wife refuses to eat at restaurants because quality of ingredients is much superior. We use olive oil, pure butter, cream, dry fruits to make gravy. If we were to buy the same quantity of the dish from restaurant, the minimum cost would be 1000 rupees which I just make by spending 200-250 rupees.

I cooked the first part as shown in your video with spices and lemon juice and coating with Besan. Then cooked little more time until Okra is cooked well. It tastes so good. Second part of Masala with all that oil and tomato I didn’t do. Thanks for all your recipe. Some of them are so creative and very healthy.
