Thank you for the in-depth review! I was considering buying a pair for both my dad and husband but wasn't completely sold until watching this video. You've really explained the pants and provided useful examples on how to fully utilize them.

Had those flex fire hose in carpenter and the cargo one, great built, but the water resistant only hold up good before second time you wash them up. But overall really good on everyday wear and on work site

Red Tail Ray, thank you for an excellent job of explaining the Deluth Pants! It's not easy doing one of these videos and some of the comments below come from people who don't comprehend that. You sold me on the pants AND you sold me on the way you treat your daughter! She is very lucky to have a Daddy that cares for her. This is the first video I've seen from you and I look forward to seeing more in the future. Best regards!

Great review thanks, i just bought some mainly because they had a sale with 40% off, i ended up buying more stuff so i could get free shipping. I do like these better than any of my other cargo pants , and i have several pair from different makers, now that i found these i will buy no other brand, i will even pay full price.

I have the same pants in the lighter material. I agree great pants and i like how the cargo pockets go over the front of the thigh too for quicker access in certain situations.

I own 2 pair of the firehose pants, they do stand up and they are really versatile. I live in colder weather and found these pant that are insulated and made really well, double stitched and pleats in the knees and reinforced rear. my second favorite pants, and very well priced. kzbin.info/www/bejne/mXfChWZ3g5WfeK8

Hey, have you tried the fleece lined version yet? I love these, but was looking at the fleece lined and wondering wether they bulky feeling compared to these. :)
@REDTAILRAY6 жыл бұрын
Jaime Valencia - I wish I could tell you. I unfortunately only have ever tried the regular versions. If it's that cold up here in MN I will be wearing long johns anyways so never thought to buy that version yet. I would stand by my opinion however and say that they would still be the best pants you'll ever buy. Period.

I just got the fleece lined carpenter pants. I wish I would have gotten the cargo fleece flex. I still love these. I have been wearing carpenter pants for the past 15 to 20 years. I like the more pockets and the room in the legs. Im older and need comfort. Seeing the pockets on these pants, I might start wearing cargo pants. I loved the camo cargo pants I wore in the Marines over 20 years ago. The fleece is real nice, not too bulky, feels almost like flannel which I like better. Fleece in pants I wore brfore these was way too heavy. These are perfect, even for every day wear in North woods. Keeps my bad knees warm. tx for the great vid.
@jaimevalencia37346 жыл бұрын
Okay I pulled the trigger and bought several pairs of the fleece lined Duluth-flex.. So I gotta say there is defiantly some noticeable weight to them, However not as bulky feeling as i expected, great for the super cold days - but yea i think i still prefer the original as far as comfort / flexibility. :-)

Nice review, BUT, Son in law does roofing and says they're not as sturdy as claimed. Anyone want to weigh in on this? I like that being left handed they take that into consideration. Nothing worse than having a hammer loop on the right side. The inside pocket is good to for secreting away money if on a trip. Might keep the pick pockets out. Got snagged in Israel.
@andreafry65128 жыл бұрын
+t. smith I buy these for my husband who does commercial hvac repair and so far they have been really sturdy. We bought 5 pairs and he's had them 3 years. In the past we've usually had to purchase new sets of pants at least once a year, if not twice a year on some. The best part is, if they do end up ripping they have the no BS gaurantee. We returned 1 pair that got ripped while he was at work a year and change after we bought them. They didn't even question it at all, just accepted them back and sent a new pair.

I have these pants and do roofing as well. That profession is very hard on pants, I have destroyed Dickies in a matter of a couple days. In my opinion, these hold up better than any other pants I have used. being that they are a bit more expensive, I am a bit more conscience about scooting around on the shingles when I am sitting up there.

shawn arthur - these pants were daily worn between the colors for work and play for a few months when I made this vid so Obviously the water resistance had worn off quite a bit with so many washes. However these are still my favorite pants BY FAR and have added more (7 total) to my closet in the past couple years. Thanks for your comment and for watching! I do appreciate it.

Brilliant review ! However, for the love of GOD, leave the snot-faucet in the house !! Nothing worse than to try to listen to someone speak while a verbal booger-eater is cryin'. Yes, I'm a curmudgeon. Raised more curtain climbers than most but NEVER have I allowed them to interrupt me while carrying on a conversation. It's thoughtless and inconsiderate on your part an extremely aggravating to your audience. The kid's precious and totally innocent but should not be allowed to turn off your viewers. Just sayin' . . . I will not be subscribing due to the lax manners and that is a shame. You give great reviews !!
